Flattened beer caps, not rusty but I'm hoping the wet t-shirt and vinegar will do the trick. Wet T-shirt, beer caps and vinegar all rolled up and marinating in a plastic bag for a week.
Gosh, The Society of Prevention of Cruelty to T-Shirts is going to be quite distressed when the see the treatment meted out to this poor shirt. However, they are quite curious to see what happens at the end of it all.
After the whole exercise I get the feeling beer caps are made of aluminium and not iron so there maybe no rusting as anticipated!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe some fungus ..... will know in a week.
